Congratulations KGIS

KGIS (Kansas Grain Inspection Service) attended the American Association Grain Inspection and Weighing Agencies (AAGIWA) annual meeting last week. During the banquet, FGIS presents awards to agencies meeting the following criteria:
All agencies who received a quality management program review between April 1, 2017 and March 31, 2018, qualify for the 2018 FGIS Gold Standard Award. To be recognized for excellent performance, eligible agencies must have received a 95% or
higher QMP score, have a SIMS Agreement Quotient of 90% or higher, and be in good administrative standing.

Between April 1, 2017 and March 31, 2018, QACD conducted 13 QMP reviews of official agencies. While all of the agencies performed well, four meet the criteria to be recognized this evening.

Kansas Grain Inspection received a 95% on their quality management review in August 2017 and had an overall SIMS agreement quotient of 91%. Kansas is headquartered in Topeka, Kansas; operates 8 full service, service points; 38 applicant specific service points, all covering 4 states which comprise their geographic area. Kansas conducted approximately 225,000
inspections at the time of their August 2017 review, primarily from railcar inspections.

CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE AT KGIS
