Congratulations to Jon Newcomer

Jon Newcomer started with the KGIS office in Salina, KS in 1999.  In 2001, he became a licensed inspector and holds licenses to grade corn, sorghum, soybeans, and wheat.  He moved to Topeka in 2012 to work at the Topeka service point.

In 2015, Jon was selected to be a part of the Tomorrow’s Agribusiness Leaders program sponsored by KGFA and KARA.  He was also promoted to the Quality Assurance Specialist position.  Jon will assume the position of Quality Assurance Coordinator for Kansas Grain Inspection Service in January 2019.

Jon and his wife, Nicole, have two children.
